For once, someone ADMIT that the ULTIMATE reason why people hate River is because she is “replacing” Rose. And this is my reaction : WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?  She is NOT replacing Rose, they are completely different characters. They’re ALL different.  I love River and I love Rose. I prefer River but I don’t feel the need to bash Rose. What’s the point? Can’t you just love or at least like two characters at the same time? Why always oppose the characters? Especially the female characters? Who’s the sexist now? Do they only exist as love interests? NO. You can prefer Rose, you can prefer the Doctor and Rose, you can even hate River because she’s annoying you but you just can’t hate her because “she’s replacing Rose”. That’s the worst reason EVER. And unfortunately, that’s the main reason.  I love Rose but most of the time I’m really annoyed by her fans.
