#look at the first gif look at his almost smile but then look at the look in his eye you can tell he’s breaking apart because he’s having to say goodbye to someone AGAIN but this time it’s even worse for him because it’s not just one person it’s two because rory means a lot to the doctor too and just as much as amy because amy loves rory and he makes her happy and amy’s his best friend and he wants her to be happy so much that ONCE AGAIN he’s giving up his own happiness for someone else #and then the second gif he knows he needs to be strong so he smiles and it is genuine because he knows he’ll see them again but it’s not too because he knows he’s going to die and that he’s going to be alone and this makes him so unhappy and he just wants desperately to have someone that he doesn’t have to say goodbye too #my god this man means so much to me
